Untitled (with image), 2017, Plaster, wood, nails, Inkjet colored print, plastic, paint, 61 1/4 x 23 3/4 x 15 1/8 inches.

This sculpture is constructed as shown in the small picture, attached to the upper left corner. The picture is a documentation of the sculpture itself. The size of the picture is the same as my smartphone screen size, placed at eyelevel, 59 inches from the floor. Then, I decided the height of the sculpture for the picture’s placement. This work was built with the transposed hierarchy. Traditionally, sculptures are constructed first, and then documented.

Untitled (with marble), 2017, Plaster, wood, nails, marble, silver, steel, paint, 32 1/8 x 14 x 22 3/4 inches.

The white part was built first, and chiseled into the marble so as to fit to the pedestal. Then I attempted to make the sculpture to be like an earring stand by arranging the earrings on it, which have a similar appearance on the front. This work was built with the transposed hierarchy; Sculptures, traditionally made out of marble, are constructed first, and then pedestal is designed for the sculpture.

Untitled (with table legs), 2017, wood, plaster, table legs, nails, paint, 27 x 18 x 18 in.

Untitled (with table legs) consists of a five-sided wooden pedestals which I have partially destroyed with a saw. The destroyed portions have been filled-in with plaster. This creates a hollow space inside which is partially occupied by wooden legs from tables.
