Screen Drawing (Still Life #6), 2016, plastic, flexi glass, acrylic on iPad protection flim, iPad holder for car, black and white print on vinyl, 64 x 48 x 9 in.

Screen Drawing (2014-present) is a series in which images are drawn on a touch tablet while the tablet’s drawing application runs. The colored images are drawn by hand. The background image is created by the tablet’s drawing application. The tablet’s drawing application captures brush movement as colored images are drawn on top of the screen. The gesture of touching a smartphone and seeing the images in real-time are captured and visualized.

A television screen, set-up like a table, contains two sets of moving images; one is a short clip which shows three women beating a male serial killer who victimizes women. Another is a video of a woman taking cups off the screen and drinking them. The audience is invited to drink.

Red Tea Paradise (Dishwasher), 2016, steel, dishwasher, water, vinyl prints, glue, 23 x 35 x 62 in.

Photographs of the inside of a dishwasher are pasted to the outside of the same dishwasher. The performance/gesture of taking a selfie photograph are applied in this work. The images of the dishwasher are captured via a smartphone placed inside the dishwasher. The dishwasher functions during the show.
